Registration

The registration is open until October 11, 2025. Please fill out the registration form below. Note that registrations will only be considered as "Confirmed" after we receive your payment.

After October 11, 2025, registration is only possible when a four-player table is formed and if there are available seats. Otherwise, the newly-registered players will be put on the waiting list.

Please pay the entry fee by October 11, 2025. Participants who fail to pay the registration fee by this date will be moved to the end of the players' waiting list.

Complete refunds can still be provided until October 17, 2025. Please note that costs may be charged for refunds by the bank institutions or Paypal. After October 17, 2025, no refunds can be issued and food choices cannot be changed anymore.

Entry fee and payment

70€ (65€ for DMJL members)

Lunch, snacks, water, coffee and tea are included in the registration fee.

We accept payments via IBAN transfer and Paypal. Payment details and other practical information will be included in the registration confirmation message.

Please select the payment type "For friends and family" when paying via Paypal.

Tournament format, rules and scoring

This tournament consists of 9 hanchans which will be played according to the latest EMA competition rules from April 2016.

In Hanchans 6 and 7, players placed in groups and are seeded according to their current position after the previous Hanchan: e. g. 1st, 5th, 9th and 13th play at the table 1. 2nd, 6th, 10th and 14th at table 2. Please note the details will be dependent on the number of total participants. There will be no cutoffs.

For the final two Hanchans, players are seeded according to their position with groups of 4: i. e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th play at table 1 etc.

We will use the Pantheon system to record and track the game results. Instructions to the system can be found here. We thank the Berlin Mahjong Club for the technical support.
